This lovely home is an 800 sq foot cottage on a very secluded lot on one of the most wonderful stretches of shoreline on the Lake with views across the water to the Bristol hills.
All on one level this wonderful home brings a sense of nostalgia and times gone by. Updated with carpet and yet retaining some original wood flooring and fresh paneling in the bedrooms it is a clean, cozy place to share memories with friends and families.
The kitchen is well equipped and has a microwave, cooking pans, serving and eating utensils, a refrigerator and stove. A breakfast bar with a picture window makes it a place to keep in with the action outside.
The master bedroom has a double bed and is simply furnished with a couple of pieces for all your needs. The second bedroom has 2 singles beds and is sprinkled with cottage charm . Both bedrooms have wood panelled walls and a couple of windows to allow for a cool breeze in the evenings. There is also a daybed on the porch for an additional person to sleep. The cottage has one full bathroom for all to share.
The living area features a stone fireplace surrounded by plenty of seating for everyone. There is also a TV with Direct TV and a DVD player for all the people who want to relax with their favorite show or movie. A quaint desk is ideal to play family games or puzzles or even paint or start writing that novel you have always promised to do !!
In the day porch there is plenty of room to catch-up on your reading and explore our library of magazines and books, drink a hot cup of coffee or sip a cool beverage. And when the day comes to a close, witness the spectacular panoramic sunset across the lake.
The house sits on a large private lot and is a perfect getaway in the summer. The lake water is ideal for swimming from early June thru September, with canoeing, kayaking, sailing, boating and fishing available all season. The 80ft of private lake frontage has excellent water quality. A 40 ft dock with boat hoist can be used for swimming, or fishing or just sitting and watching the world go by.
There are a few stairs to the pebbly beach and some outdoor adirondacks chairs and a picnic bench to relax and enjoy the peace and serenity making this a perfect choice for your summer vacation.
Plenty of grassy areas and shady trees for your enjoyment during those long summer days make it an ideal destination for all ages. The home also comes with use of a rowboat and kayak for those who want to expend a bit of energy and visit the nooks and crannies of the nearby lake shores.
Situated approx 25 minutes from Historic Canandaigua, 20 minutes from Naples and 1 Hour from Watkins Glen and the home of Racing, this home offers quiet and yet convenience.
