Our vacation rental is set on the shores the beautiful historic Canandaigua lake, part of the world famous Finger lakes region in New York.
Inside or out, you are literally steps from the lake where you can relax and forget the rest of the world. This is a bright, fresh lake house, with the master bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor making it a ideal family vacation home or for people with limited mobility.
The first floor consists of a living room with a piano, a gas fireplace and stereo – perfect for a night of family entertainment, In addition there is a den area which has a TV, VCR and DVD as well as another fireplace for the early season chilly evenings . The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size stove and refrigerator, as well as a microwave oven, toaster oven, coffee maker, garbage disposal and all basic cooking and serving utensils . There is also seating for 4-6 people.
The bedrooms are tastefully decorated in a modern style and have fans - The first floor master has a queen bed and the full bathroom has a tub and shower as well as a convenient laundry facility. Upstairs, bedroom 2 has a queen bed and there are two single beds in bedroom 3. There is an additional bathroom upstairs with a shower. There is also a upstairs seating area with a double pull out sofa bed and TV
Outside the home boasts a large level well maintained yard with 50ft of private lakefront and a 60ft dock to fish, swim or keep your boat on. The water quality is excellent however water shoes are recommended throughout the lake. There is a break wall at the shoreline and access to the lake is via the dock. An additional mooring buoy is also available for the renters use.
The grassy yard has garden furniture and a gas grill for those wonderful summer outdoor meals and a place for memories to be made. Facing west across the lake, sipping a cool summer drink whilst watching the sunset over the Bristol Hills, listening to the gentle lapping waves – A Perfect way to end the day.
The house is located at the northern end of the lake only 2.5 miles from Canandaigua town and the fabulous Wegmans store for all your grocery needs. There are many places to rent boats or to launch and dock your own boat. At night you can find good restaurants such as Max at the Inn on the lake or the New York Culinary centre just a short distance away. After dinner, there are candy and ice cream shops and a beautiful lake front pathway to take an evening stroll. The town park beach is also a public beach very near by which is a great spot for swimming and picnics as well as a water park for a variety of activities for all the family including golf and wine tasting.
The rental offers a summer paradise! Spend the summer on the lake swimming, boating, and water-skiing. Fish for Bass or Lake Trout. Enjoy spectacular foliage, History, scenery, hiking, art, antiquing, museums and shopping are all nearby, while you enjoy the peace and serenity of the Finger Lakes region

$55 Damage Insurance plus a $200 refundable deposit (subject to final inspection) charged at booking or alternatively a $1500 security deposit on arrival is required
Pillows, mattress covers, blankets & coverlets/bedspreads provided.
Linens and Towels can be provided at additional cost of $20 person
Pet fee $50 per pet ( if applicable)
Water Craft:
Resort Property Rentals and its owners do not accept any liability for damage when using docks, moorings, boat hoists on any property . Any damage will be sole responsibility of the Renter. Please advise us if you intend to bring any watercraft and we can advise you of suitability to the property
