Strawberry lane sits nestled in the picturesque, secluded setting on the jewel of the Finger Lakes – Lake Canandaigua.
Half way down the west side of the lake, down a long private lane this beautiful home is set in a wooded copse to give you the feeling of complete privacy and away from it all.
Upon entering this 2-story home you walk into the living area with a stone fireplace perfect for those family evenings around the fire. As with many lake homes in the area, it has many little nooks and crannies where you can grab some quiet time with a good book. It was purpose built to be a large comfortable fun home for a large family where many reunions and memories can be shared. Details such as wood paneled walls and a mixture of antique and modern furniture give this home a very comfortable feel. The great room has a TV with cable, a DVD, VCR and seating for 6 around the wood fire. A dark wood breakfast table for 4 sits in the corner next to the window with views of the lake, a perfect spot to play with the puzzles, games and books available for your enjoyment. Opening the glass French doors from the living room leading to the huge sunroom makes it very open plan and a huge area for everyone to socialize.
The pretty sunroom is furnished with wicker style seating and another 8 seated dining table. This room is light and open with views of the lake and more glass doors to the outside. A baseboard heater in the sunroom keeps the early season evening chill at bay and to keep you in touch with the world - this home also has Internet connection.
The home does not have AC but has some fans for your summer comfort.

The kitchen is bright and moderately equipped with ample silverware, cooking utensils, serving dishes and china for any large group. There is an electric oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker but no dishwasher – giving you plenty of time catching up on the daily events while sharing the daily chores. There is a washer / dryer also for your convenience situated in the garage.
The house contains 5 large bedrooms all furnished for your comfort.

This house is on a septic system so we ask you to respect the owner’s instructions on usage to avoid any problems during your stay.

Directly outside the sunroom is a gravel/stone patio with garden furniture, a charcoal BBQ and a grassy area at the top of the hill for lawn games.
The main attraction of this wonderful large home is the stunning 2000sq ft new dock and waterfront swimming area. Enjoy your time in this spectacular setting with 100 ft of private lake frontage with a natural break wall, crystal clear waters and the stunning views - this is the place to spend your day.
Relax on a sun chair, sip a glass of wine, play games, and eat at the outdoor table where you can enjoy beautiful views from the dock, some of the best on Lake Canandaigua. The owners have created a swim area created by the docks with a shelving gradual decline perfect for young children in a safe protected area
Fantastic swimming water quality with some lake toys including a Diving raft, kayak and paddleboat are all available for the renters, use.
If you have a boat or would like to rent one from the nearby marina there is a mooring buoy or cleats on the dock. The boat hoist is not available for renters use. The 10ft water depth at the end of the furthest dock is perfect for all you fishermen looking for the next big one!!!
Leading from the large parking area ample for 5+ cars there are approximately 75 stairs to the lakefront and docks with platforms for you to stand, rest and enjoy the view. This may not be suitable for people with limited mobility but there is a secure handrail along the stairway.
